Actually what's happening is the opposite - notice BH isn't buying these cos, they're forming separate partnerships, allowing YG to stay independent and not get eaten up by the REAL monopoly of CJ ENM, the real 'Disney' of Korea (or Kakao M, which is massive and about to go public)

The media conglomerates are the real danger here. But yes I actually think the reaction is mostly okay! At least from more mature stans.

Nope. YG has established it's own identity for years and they are untouchable. If they will be merged they will lose their uniqueness.
