What's the best excuse you've used to get out of a difficult situation?

For work: internet problems, no email notification (maybe it was an error, oops), isn't visible maybe because I used an older version of the app, autocorrect, my phone is broken and it didn't show when I was called

For school: medical appointment, babysitting my cousin, email problems, forgot my textbook/notebook at my *insert relative* house

For social situations: I will sit in another place to hear/see better, busy with....,

As an introvert I have so my excuses lol, I can make an excuse for everything, depends on the difficulty of the situation.

If it's someone I won't accidentally cross on the streets, I tell them I can't I'm out of town that week.
If it's someone I might run into, I tell them I have to run important errands for family

If it's a close friend, I just tell them straight up I dont feel like it lol

My dog just died after eating my homework. It’s pretty serious as it turns out my dog is also my grandmom and my grandpa just turned into a cat.
