Aespa impact on Knowing Brother

  • Which were among the lower ratings of their years, but true, not the very lowest seeing how Seventeen and Mamamoo had even lower in those same years.

The fact that so far ITZY had the misfortune to have the absolute lowest Nielsen ratings for this year is hopefully not a sign of deteriorating popularity. Tbh, not sure at all how Nielsen ratings should be interpreted in this context (Knowing Bros watching audience didn't like the episode? Or tune out when it's idols in the episode?)

Luckily Aespa have experienced huge popularity spikings in other platforms and media :-)

During their year highest was 6.9 and what BP got was above average..in korea aespa is doing very well but on youtube and spotify not so much

  • I didn't even know they vary their settings per episode, I thought they'd changed the format from classroom to this other place :wellr:

also this thread is about KB having a rise of almost 50% on the rank about topicality

so i don't see why are you all talking about ratings when it's not even the subject

you can have good ratings but your ep make no impact

topicality measure if the show was a big topic or no, and aespa apparition in the show definitely boost KB and made it a hot topic in korea afterwards

  • It was a big topic bcoz last ep didn't have any guest.

In Spotify they already have over 3.1M monthly listeners and rising, which is pretty damn good for a new 4th gen group.

In youtube, their MV is nearing 100M views and has 2M likes, and Aespa's worldwide google trends stats ain't too shabby either.

Overall, they're progressing nicely for a group that's just 6 months old.

    LMAO stop embarassing yourself

it was a hot topic because everybody was talking about aespa skills

because all the video of their skills were trending on Naver

it was a big topic because "Secret garden" "IU" "Gummy" etc... topped Melon real time search after Aespa made a cover of their songs in the show

    you're so trigger it's so funny x)

LMAOOOO not you saying that Aespa is not doing great on Spotify when they just become the fastest GG ever on spotify to reach 3M monthly listener '-'

you're really trigger by aespa success, it's so funny

On youtube chart(without ads) they debut with 24m views and second week with 11m views and on third week didn't even chart..only thing Next level did better that BM is increasing no of ads.

even with more monthly listeners BM did better since NL still at 15m streams.

About 2m likes BM crossed it within 13 days

so nope it didn't do better on youtube and spotify that their previous release

? Not sure if you're an Aespa hater or not, but 2M likes is a lot better than most other 3th/4th gen groups do for their MV's, even their other videos on youtube often end up in the top views of those shows/channels.

As for Spotify, their monthly listeners number is increasing so yes, that's a sign of growth especially since it might peak in the 3.5-4M range before this cycle has run its course. Which beats most of the 4th gen as well as the 3rd gen in monthly listeners, and this with only 3 songs :wellr:

In any case, once again this starts to derail. Let's stick on topic, if you want to discuss this kinda stuff, let's not do this in a thread that's about Knowing Bros and Aespa's trending from it.
