Somi's Spotify stream numbers are near the top for female soloists, so she clearly has a good number of fans.

-"we" is Somi and her producers. She doesn't make the songs by herself.

-Somi is probably working on her MMTG performance at the moment, and she is 'suspiciously quiet' all the time.

-Her YT and Spotify numbers suggest that her solo career is already successful. Any other artist would have lost most of her fans if she released as little content as Somi.

-She would have to sign a contract with YG, and possibly leave TBL. There is no indication that she joined YG. I don't even think that Teddy will be the main producer for YGNGG.

The only way this would make sense is if TBL and YG worked out a contract that would allow Somi to occasionally release solo content under TBL while also being a member of YGNGG under YG (how they would split Somi's modeling/ad income would be an issue). I have never heard of such thing, but I suppose it is possible since TBL and YG are obviously close. I can actually see Somi joining a group if she can also release solo content and has control over her solo modeling/ad work.

Jessica just sent Somi a gift with "XOXO" on the box and Somi posted "XOXO" in the caption. Maybe coincidence, maybe not.

As an aside, is Jessica and Somi paid for this ad or just Jessica? It's not really a gift if Somi advertises it on her insta.

Though personally, I think she'd suit being in a girl group more. But, I doubt they would put in one. She wanted to go solo

I think we'll never know. In all pre-debut pictures she was with Yeji, Chaery, and Lia... No Yuna in sight.

But when you look at their trainees in the Stray Kidz survival show she wasn't there anymore

All Itzy members wanted to leave so maybe she was the only one who did it

itzy was really made for her thats why she was not able to enter sixteen top 9 because JYP already has plan for her.

Nah, she was definitely supposed to part of ITZY. They even shot official pictures of her as part of the group. The group has always had her in mind, I think she just ended up wanted to go solo
