Honestly, I forgot she existed since it's been like almost a year since she made a comeback and I haven't even seen her do any activities other than a comeback either.
I know she's under a YG sub-label but you would think they would give her more songs right? 
I think Somi has a lot of potential but idk if she will ever reach it at this rate.

Since Itzy already have songs out, you can kind of picture if Somi was in Itzy instead. It'll sound a little different if course but for the most part, you kinda can picture what it'll be like if she was in Itzy.
So then you have to ask which one you prefer. While I love Itzy songs, I have to say, I quite like the songs TBL gave Somi as well, I just wish there was more of it.

I think if she were in a group, her abilities and talents would be showcased better. In Itzy's case, their comebacks aren't too far apart from each other. JYP promotes their girl groups well so I think Somi would do better if she stayed with them.

I see. In terms of acclaim and attention for musical content, definitely, at this stage she would have gotten more notoriety if she just stayed with ITZY. Financially, she's doing really well considering all her CF deals. She has had a lot of opportunities despite the lack of music. I took it that one of the reasons she decided to go to another agency was she wanted the freedom to have more input on her career. Unfortunately for us fans, it meant less of a proactive approach to her music career. We'll see what it looks like this year but I think it'll be very telling what fans can expect going forward.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion.
While I'm entitled to be right. 
I actually like a few of ITZY's discography. Dalla Dalla and Wannabe being my favorite songs.
I just think that songs like Outta My Head and What You Waiting For blow those away for me. Birthday is better than any b-side song they have. So because of that, I actually liked Somi's discography better despite it being so small.
I call it a Boutique Discography.
