DC TV shows used to be better than marvel until Wanda and Falcon flipped that and now Marvel > DC for both movies and TV

I'm not a fan of superhero genres in general and generally find the movies to be vacuous. There have been exceptions, such as "Logan". In general I prefer DC over Marvel because the DC based movies ( like the modern comics) tend to be more character driven.

it's still part of the MCU so all the visual effects - story is top notch (well i think so and the general consensus is that they are top notch )

well the first one is about Wanda and Vision and what happens to them so yes it definitely builds up Wanda and vision

jokes aside i used to like DC more than Marvel when I was little cus of solely Batman cartoon series & Dark Knight Trilogy but DC flopped after that and I don't watch superhero TV shows they seem poorer than the movies

Robert Pattinson's Batman might be great

Eternals will probably be a cornerstone to what will happen in the mcu in the future. They will probably try to setup the universe to introduce mutants at one point

DC solo movies for Aquaman, Wonder woman & Batman didn't make me interest in those characters tbh. I'd rather prefer the universe Batman centered, but there is already Dark Knight Trilogy and that series is too great so it is impossible to surpass that. I was only interested in Suicide Squad but that basically flopped, Harley Quinn solo movie was decent nothing special, I haven't watched Snyder's cut but it seems to be much better than the previous one.

I am also curious how MCU will continue in the future, we have Eternals, we have Thor Love and Thunder, and Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 I wonder what else, also how they gonna continue Spider man

almost just by definition a solo film will spend more time on characterization. Connected Universe or Ensemble films quite often come off as just an action melange without much plot or character development. Not saying I don't get enjoyment sometimes from those types of movies, but they are not usually satisfying as actual stories.

The novelty has wore down big time for me. Now these movies mostly look formulaic and bland.

For the moment the only superhero movie I'm looking forward to is Matt Reeves' The Batman starring Robert Pattinson.

I love the Marvel movies. I've watched every single movie at least twice.

I'm not really excited for the Eternals at the moment though... That Trailer, while visually stunning, somehow managed to make me dislike everyone in under 3 minutes. I'll wait and see though. Further footage could very well change my mind.
