im stuck in this weird position where ive finished pretty much every popular ya book ever. nor do i want to read those again, but im still immature enough to not be entertained by reading something like to kill a mockingbird.
pls no dystopian or romance novel lol. i would like it to be something wholesome yet realistic like if you could see me now by cecilia ahern.
or if not something that is sweet and makes you think without it being too heavy or angsty and not filled with stupid characters.
yes now gimme
pick out a book for me pls

To Kill a Mockingbird, Maniac Magee or Farewell to Manzanar: all educational but very entertaining and fun to read. They make you think about hard things in life but also teach you about the world. I highely suggest these books

I think Jane Austen is crucial for you to get used to the "Victorian way of speaking". It took me time to get used to the writing but after all the effort, it was a really pleasant book. It is the reason why I bought all other Austen books.

so you think her books are the best way to kind of introduce myself to those type of books?
