Can someone explain why do bullying scandals exist in KPop?

    I would understand if an Idol was bullying a staff member or another Idol during the present days, but if a classmate of an Idol sued an Idol of bullying them in University, why go to court over something without proof?

    Example; (G)I-DLE's Soojin, I'm not caught up on the scandal but as far as I'm aware of there's no actual proof of it happening just word of mouth. No hard hitting evidence.


    This doesn't happen to celebrities in the U.S.

    Bullying is a very serious issue in Korea especially among the students. There are horror stories upon horror stories of students being bullied so bad, they pass either by suicide or their own injuries.


    A lot of these times, the bullies go unscathed and unpunished.


    So people feel the pain when idols are accused of being bullied because they see it as a chance to "punish" the bullies for actions they were never punished for during school.

    Most of korean celebs who r accused r 90% of times r bullied.

    They r rightfully cancelled


    A teenager is mature enough to know where to draw the line.


    Bullying scars r with victims forever. I got abused for my body issues a lot and even to this day, i cant forgive those losers for ruining my confidence and mixing with people. Bullies deserve hell
