I gave up on the live actions anyway.
They seemed like a good idea way back at the start.
Then every one proved they can't capture the magic of the animation.
They all fall into this uncanny valley of being hollow imitations of the originals.

It's kind of an hypocrisy how people who wanted "Aladdin" to be played by a more ethnic looking actress than Naomi Scott are defending this black girl and Disney's choice. It seems that their problem is with white people lol. And "The Little Mermaid" is a Danish story. If it was a story made by non-white nations and a white person was playing it people would accuse it of cultural appropriation or something
