If you watched the trailer, you should have known what to expect.

I tried to separate it from the original, tried to watch it as its own entity but it was hard to do when the producers kept the same names, powers, and similar plot points to the original. I ended up just 1.5x speeding through the series (minus the nonboring parts) while comparing it to the animated version the entire time but that just pissed me off more.

They turned Bloom's cute, peppy, loving, and supportive parents into lowkey abusive ones

Stella became an uptight raging bitch who's now beefing with Bloom over a boy??

The ugly ass outfits at the end of the season finally were truly the icing on top of the entire garbage cake

Please just hire Navarose to style for season 2. We deserve compensation for sitting through that mess.

As someone who wasn't watched the original (not the target demo even back then), I'm gonna watch this out of curiosity. See what it's like as a standalone show.

I only watched the first episode, i dont think is that bad, It would have been better if they just say that they were inspired by Bloom's story and the magic school and that they are not interested to make it like the animation. But it worries me that they think Tinkerbell is fairy of air

Agree, the love triangle between Bloom, Stella and Sky killed me, Flora and Tecna disappeared, why did they even changed Musa's powers? The rest of specialists also disappeared, the trio of witches disappeared, the girls aren't even fairies since they don't transform, they are witches. The show has nothing to do with Winx Club.

So it really is Winx Club? When I saw the name I thought of it, but it didn't look like the cartoon. I only saw a few episodes like 15 years ago. As someone who doesn't know the original story, I didn't think it was bad.
