Some people noted that the new deadlier version of the virus spread like wildfire when they started giving the vaccine in India. If those weren't the real vaccine, who knows what could have been in there.

I've heard some are having weddings here with hundreds of people attending.

Political campaigns are still going on. The government is least bothered about putting a lockdown unless it's out of control.
people aren't that afraid of the pandemic bc of vaccination and low death rate

Jesus christ, still? I understand that weddings are joyous occasions and just how big they can be since everyone wants to celebrate particularly so in India, but come on people...

Sry maybe this sound cold but I don't have any sympathy for them. And no I don't talk about the people who wear mask and only go outside if they really need because they try their best to stop the Virus, I talk about the people who don't take care of other, make party, don't wear mask and make the situation even worst. In time like this we all have to work together to over come this Pandemic.

I live in the U.S right now but I am Indian. In the state that I used to live in. The cases have surged and a few people from my family have gotten covid(this was before the huge surge right now) and the person that used to live across has gotten it too(currently) But cases are not so bad that the oxygen is running out really fast nor are people not being able to get care because of an abundance of cases.
So basically a lot of cases, but not that bad that people are dying because they can't get into a hospital.
