tzuyu was a victim of double standards

  • so, you probably know what happened to tzuyu for being a taiwanese and raising the flag of her own country

this caused a huge backlash in asian entertainment industry and tzuyu was forced to apologize

jyp entertainment was accused of violating human rights and yes they did violate human rights and degraded tzuyu, a girl who was minor at a time

meanwhile i wonder, how the entertainment industry let a hong kong NATIONALIST jackson wang to slip and pass?

jackson wang was in hong kong's national team and is from an international school in hong kong, he never got thought any prc propaganda

was it tzuyu's fault that she didn't use taiwan to get popular and dumped them once she noticed she can make it big in china?

because thats exactly what jackson wang did and looks like it worked for him as he never had to apologize for carrying identity of a country

:* anyways join the discussion before the "chinese idols were forced to support prc they have no choice" cult comes in

  • Because there's less tension between china and Hongkong

    than Taiwan and china

    Hong kong is independant

While taiwan is more ambiguous, some people claim it's an independant nation and others claim that it belongs to China

for people who defend the idea of of taiwan being chinese, there's only 1 flags and it's the chinese flags

that's why raising the taiwan flag is more controversial, because you admit that you're supporting the independance of Taiwan

  • Hong kong is an official special region. Their flag is acknowledged by china. Raising hong kong flag doesnt neccesarily mean you support separation of hong kong from china lol. PRC does not acknowledge taiwan nor their flag so thats why the backlash.

It's not about tension. The Hong Kong flag to China is no more different than the Texas or New York state flag to the USA.

    Hong Kong is not independent.

The guy was a Hong Kong nationalist from head to toe and in start of his career he never said that he's from China but said he is from Hong Kong. If it makes sense to y'all for him to do a 180° turn and start carrying Chinese flags here and there and even calling his homeland "shameful" makes sense to y'all... go clutch your purse and check whether your lunch money is there or not because im scared that you might get robbed and don't notice it

What are you rambling about? You compared Hong Kong and Taiwan, I only stated their status is completely different.

  • What do you rate the restaurant in pic below and their food in SG? We have it here about 3 years ago

Apparently chicken here is different from yours ..Shaq o'neal size compared to yours :rolleyes1:

Chickens in SEA looks yellowish when done boiling...not only in SG, saw that too in Indonesia and Malaysia.. were they fed with corn and stuffs? they called it " sam wong gai" in HK for the yellowish chicken tho

  • Tbh it's nice I guess but a lot of people find it overrated. That is because Chicken Rice is easily available anywhere in hawker centres so you don't really need to get it from a restaurant. Like a plate of Chicken Rice can cost like $3 cheap cheap at hawker centre.

Actually the SG one is more peppery, and Malaysian one is more medicinal I think?
