Where did the false narrative that joy is the most pushed in rv come from?

She had lead roles in kdramas very early which is a huge deal

Maybe because of the drama she get and solo job at early of her career

People always have that kind of thinking. When one member gets a lot of jobs, the will start thinking the member is pushed by the company. I think it also happen to BP in their early career

The 'Joy is being pushed the most' narrative isn't mainstream with the fanbase at all for the past few years, at least I haven't seen it said that much the past few years (or maybe only or more so by SM/RV antis, trolls and other-group stans, not sure why those are constantly going through the trouble).

This was different though for the first few years after RV's debut: Joy got her 'We Got Married' gig, some other acting opportunities and there were all kinda examples that (some) fans mentioned as a sign SM themselves were actively highlighting Joy more in promo's, teasers etc (iirc an example was how Joy's crown had a jewel where the others' crown didn't, and some other examples where Joy's stance or styling was different from the others in group pics). Probably because there was more buzz around Joy in the first 1-2 years after debut, kinda like an 'emerging it girl' vibe.

But as these trends go, up and down, that was only the first few years after RV's debut. The past few years, I've hardly heard it being mentioned at all. Certainly not now that the other 4 members have been building up their own individual activities and debuts, the past 1-3 years.

As for Twitter, people really should learn by now not to pay that much attention to it; it's a cesspool where you can find odd or farfetched opinions from one end of the spectrum to the other end, as many as there are people. Basically the same applies to Pann and Nate.

It came up sometimes in the first years after RV's debut due to Joy having the most activities back then and Joy (apparently) getting highlighted in promos, but after that hardly at all.

We got married show, 2 Kdramas are some of the best solo promos of any RV member that is not a CF. The next best was music bank MC with Bogum which Irene got

Which all tanked btw, which made the narrative of her being invited even worst bc who keep calling and idol that do poorly and get bad review....like it make no sense. Irene got cfs above her bad attitude bc she sold out shit but joy didn't do well with the material she was given (and I'm not siding irene bc her contracts also didn't last long but brand were up to try with her)

I still think WGM and 2 dramas is bigger than any other thing the members got. Also, I find it hard to believe she got those acting roles herself coz her acting is lacking, and yes I have seen both dramas.

No it didn't , everybody in rv is doing poorly in charts, just a group cmb can save them and even thst right now sound difficult

Yes. From my pov, I think Joy will be the most successful solo out of RV; if SM decide to give her one. The receipts speak for itself, eventhough she isn't the most skilled members Knetz are digging her voice more.

Yeah that's why I said that narrative is mainly bought by jealous akgaes of other members. Besides, that said members also got chances to sang popular drama OST. Actually singing wise vocal lines got more or less the same opportunity.
