They're decently popular in Japan. Their last Japanese comeback was in 2020 in mid-October.

Their catalogue sales r good. I never expected it.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Stray Kids' sale potential right now since they haven't had a proper Korean comeback for over 10 months and have gone through an extreme fandom growth. They had a repackage in September that completely outsold their full album by over 100K sales, and that album is currently the best selling boy-group album under JYPE.
Also, Divison 1 is doing great promotion in Japan for Stray Kids so I think that's also a factor!
