I live in the metropolitan Los Angeles "megacity" area, so I'd visit New York. LA is sprawling, so you have to travel a lot to see all the highlights, versus NYC is compact. For example, the largest art museum in NYC is very accessible while LA's largest art museum is situated on top of a hill in Brentwood. NYC has one definitive amusement park: Coney Island. The Los Angeles/Orange County area has three: Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Knotts Berry Farm (if you like pioneer Old West North America and the Peanuts gang).
One of the Korean districts is located near Knotts Berry Farm btw. There's a mall with a CJ CGV. Originally the YG themed megastore was supposed to be in the same mall, but they backed out. There's also a well-known Cuban-American local bakery chain located in the area. If you drive inland, there's a traditional style Chinese Buddhist temple in the hills and the area is about 30 minutes from the coast. The closest beach is Huntington Beach (aka. Surf City)-if you're OK with those vibes.
The greater LA area also has 2 or 3 traditional style Hindu temples if you are into traditional architecture (like me). The most well-known one is in Calabasas (near Malibu). Also near Malibu is an Italian style villa housing Greek and Roman antiquities. It is located in Pacific Palisades. The best botanical garden in the area imo is The Huntington. It has a small museum/library and is home to the classic paintings The Blue Boy and Pinkie.
The two presidential libraries in the area are the Reagan library and the Nixon library. Both presidents represented the conservative Republican party.
If I was showing someone around the LA/OC area, I would focus on the upscale, multi-cultural, or historical. I would not focus on the Hollywood-area.

well it depends on the type of pizza tbh. I would say overall traditonal pizza New York hands down. Every burrough has their own pizza specialty. But if people want weird combo pizzas then there's a lot of other cities that have pretty cool "fusion" pizzas like Dallas, Cincinnati, etc.
I don't think of pizza when I think of LA LMAO.

I think of tacos and Asian Fusion food and vegan food.
Personally for me, when I go back to LA I want to try the Korean Fried Cheese shops around!
