I believe school doesn't have the responsibility to teach other than academics. But, with the parents seems like ignore their role in the education of their children, better the school teach it

but what do you consider academics...does that exclude things like music or physical education? or things like home economics? or other forms of education
here in Australia there are other non-academics things to learn at school such as woodworking and metalworking and mechanics and stuff like that...

yeah i remember even prior to years 11-12 (when we had to focus on university preparation stuff) we had things like woodworking classes and home economics classes (like cooking and sewing and stuff)

For PE, maybe just the basic of athletic, not like athlete training. We don't have musical education in my school as a required subject, it's in extracurricular

I know right!!
Maybe it is because we all have trouble bringing or talking about our own problems with others, or that we have a fear that we may be ignored or ridiculed for our mental health
I truly hope that 'Let's talk' will be a safe and comfortable space for all users on akp
Also, I know the feeling of how hard it is to speak about mental health, I still struggle greatly with that problem.
