    I think their first song and EP will always have the top spot in my heart, but TripleS legit pump out killer tune after killer tune, (for example their newest EP has 4 incredible singles, one for each of the sub groups).

    I loved them since I first heard Pinball. Deja Vu was one of my top played tracks last year. It hits that same nostalgia vein that Ditto and GFriend did.

    Keeping Kpop fun and celebrating hip-hop in all its different guises. I wish they were more popular than they are. Hopefully Sunhye will bring in new fans by impressing in Show Me the Money 12 (she passed the 1st round).

    They have no songs (yet), and they also have the worst name in all of kpop, (the more I have thought about it, the more I hate the name lol).


    But I loved watching the show, and becoming a fan of Doi (aka Kim Doyi), so I am keeping my top 5 open for them (sorry illit, you no longer make the cut).

    Idk I’ve given up lol. That TripleS song I posted is from 2022 and like a month after NewJeans debut but everyone calls them 5th gen (on some loophole around subunits).


    I’ll let you decide what’s 5th gen and not ^^


    Excellent list btw, I wanted to put I’m Not Cute Anymore on mine too. If h//pe turnout to be lacklustre I’ll promote illit back to 5th spot.

    lol true. It makes my head hurt thinking about generations which is why I feel it's just a marketing term. I don't think it truly feels like a new generation, but I guess there's a gap between 4th gen groups and groups that debuted in 2023.


    Personally, covid made generation confusing because that felt like a whole new era for kpop because there was a major shift in trends. For example, Idle doesn't feel like they're a 4th gen group but more so a late 3rd gen group because I didn't really feel shift happened when they debuted. I think there was more of a shift when Itzy debuted because I felt trends were starting to shift, but covid accelerated change
