Cortis and their ped*noona fans

    I wonder why people don’t talk about this as much as they do when similar things happen to girl groups. And the way their fans are more obvious and openly thirsting over these young boys is even weirder. How is this not a huge topic, the way it was when Nwjns, Lsf or Illit faced it before?


    I’m not sure if it’s because they’re a boy group, so having older female fans is seen as somewhat less terrible than older male fans (which I strongly disagree with). Compared to what I’ve seen from the recent gen, they might actually have one of the worst cases where older fans openly thirsting over a 16–17 year old boys, with many people liking those comments instead of calling those fans out. Lots of them see that as something so normal.


    It usually only gets attention when people outside the fandom point out how bizarre it is, and only then does it create some awareness. But the overall lack of call-outs is honestly devastating.

    it was same with Enhypen and TXT back in the day


    it's probably because there is this stereotype that women can't do anything wrong, and it's "cute that women like and are cheering for 6-7 or more years younger boys"


    but if you dig down deep you will suddenly see some 30 year old writing fanfics with those boys or posting ridiculous things on X thirsting like crazy...

    Nobody ever talks about how werid so many bg fandoms are


    Bgs tend to have some of the most pedo fans ngl… enhypen, cortis, nct wish are most recent ones. Their fandoms are grown ass women gooning to a bunch of teenage boys (ig enhypen are all adults now but that was their fandom for the longest time)

    With Hybe this started with Jimin, the way he was the "sexy" guy in the group while being a minor and just after getting out of nuguland Hybe stopped this craziness, but they do it with every other group so I just imagine how sick they are and the pedo fans.

    In k-pop in general you'll sometimes see how the company puts a certain "image" in the maknae of the group, the thing is, with ggs is more visible, their outfits, the dances, how they portray and historically ggs are more known them bgs so people will negative reaction more. For a group like Cortis, not many will identify this problem simply bc they don't know Cortis. But on sns stans can try viral tweets, posts about this awful situation and maybe it'll reach the company that is doing it on purpose.

    But yeah, creepy older fans are a plague and should go to jail with their pedo mentality.
