What is something you hate about kpop?

hate is such a strong word...there's really not much I hate about kpop per se since a lot of negatives of kpop I'm either indifferent to or consider part and parcel of the industry

I hate when labels drop pre-release singles and then I later find out they're in the upcoming albums. WTF???

You don't know how many singles I've bought before finding out they were in upcoming albums, only to also discover iTunes did not allow me to repurchase the tracks from the albums because the single versions were already purchased.
So, now, I'm kind of paranoid whenever singles drop because I don't know if I should buy those or wait for the albums down the line as well, wondering if the those tracks will be included or not.

Correction, PSYCHO STANS --- The insane ones that find out where idols will be traveling to, including where they live.

교차편집 aka stage mixes - If I’m watching lives, I want to watch a single live all the way through, not your weird spliced Frankenstein’s monster of a video.
I guess mine is the same as yours. Or similar.
I Hate when some groups in the same performance or award shows don't get to FULLY perform their own songs and just do shortened versions. For example -- first verse, chorus, last verse. [ For songs with 3 verses. ]
WTF???? I don't understand why producers of those shows allow some groups to perform fully, while others get gimped.

Mine wasn’t about singing medleys, but about those videos where they take the performances from Inkigayo, Music Core, M-countdown and Music Bank, of the same song, and stitch them together into 1 video. They often have these weird transition effects on the videos too when it moves from one stage to the next. It’s a real pet-peeve and 1st world problem, but it bugs me, I wish I could remove them all from my algorithm somehow.

Songs under three minutes long, with no bridge, full of onomatopoeia and repeating the same single word in the chorus.
Agreed! Those half-assed produced SHORT songs.

My mistake. Apologies.

I'm getting so sick of autotune (this isnt just a Kpop thing, this is everywhere nowadays, and soon with AI, it will get much worse). Folks have clearly lost their mind when they start praising their faves vocals and covers when it's 10000 percent obvious that their faves didnt sing a single authentic note in the entire song - the computer did.
The hate train against LSRFM when the faves of the loudest antis (who shall remain nameless lol) couldnt even last 3 seconds doing the dance break of Easy, let alone pull off a 50 minute set at Coachell with zero backtrack, zero autotune, zero lipsync.

I kinda hate those close-up face shots in mvs, especially when they are not emoting anything with their face or if they show a nasty expression

-The dumb fanwars. People will think they're in some epic battle royal with another fandom, while they are all losers angry typing on some screen. Same goes for haters and trolls. It's all just sad behavior. Goes for some people from my own fandom too.
--A subcategory in this is people who see red when one troll/hater/someone from another fandom, posts hate and then goes hating another idol.
First of all, dumb idiot, that idol didn't say that. Secondly, you don't even know if the fandom they claim to be from is really their fandom. Plenty of trolls trying to stir up trouble. Thirdly, you're just dumb.
--Another subcategory is people who think all people in one fandom are the same way. They are not in your own fandom, so don't say it about another fandom. Stop being dumb.
--People who use serious matters for their stupid fanwars, while not honestly caring about those matters at all.
-On a much less serious note, I dislike pre-comebacks etc. Just start with the main comeback/title track first and then add 1 or 10 more MVs if you must. Let all the excitement be about the main comeback and not delude it. Same goes for pre-releases before debut.
-People who talk a lot about who had PS and then start showing pictures to "prove" it. Who cares.
-People believing accusations about bullying without any proof. Has already shown to be wrong several times. So wait and see before going on a crazy rampage against the idol.
