But there is one thing that separated SNSD/BP and 99% other ggs: they sell individuality instead of unity. You heard people talking about the members and what non-music activities they doing more than what music they putting out as a group.

It's not surprising that SNSD and BP are 2 of the few ggs the GP know all of the members. In that way BP can be considered SNSD's successor.

Blackpink never went against anything in their whole career. They just did what 2NE1 already made successful at YG. I mean, YG himself said: "They're the pretty version of 2NE1."

Blackpink isn't even the first girl group in 3rd gen who were called "Girl Crush", it was MAMAMOO, BP's concept is "BADASS" not "Girl Crush". People mistake the two things, but it's not the same.
