This is the case with more than half the songs on that list.

They are all boosted by radioplay which is why a lot of people have come to hate Anxiety and Beautiful Things. They are both arguably good songs but too much radioplay has ruined it.

It is on pace to be the most successful girl group song released by any girl group ever.

It's already peaked higher on BB Hot 100 than any other song, with a real chance at #1. It's sitting at PAK in Korea, despite releases from both BLACKPINK and aespa, not to mention the biggest debut (ADP) since NewJeans.

I haven't checked but did spotify streams for groups not involved with the movie increased?

I will say it's a good introduction to get into the genre, so maybe it will create new kpop fans. However, I can see it being it's own contained thing where people don't check kpop music.

Despite what some people here say, golden's success don't have anything with "excessive promo from Netflix" which btw never happened. It was all word of mouth.

Last week was the 5th week since the film was released and with each week it has more streaming hours (that's how Netflix and other streaming platforms counts ratings, in case someone don't know). And you cannot say that it's a tv series (more episode increase watching hours), it's a film that's 1h and 30m long.

Everyone who watched reviews on youtube (i couldn't care less about corporate media critics) could have seen that everyone praised the music and said that one of the factors for its success was music. And said reviews weren't done only by women but men too.

It's honestly incredible how all of this turned out. I'm sure that creators and netflix never expected it.
