Just because you think it's the right move doesn’t mean it actually is. A December comeback doesn’t magically fix anything. Unless you’re a fan, like I am, you won’t understand the deeper issues with how Starship has handled Cravity.

They finally created divisions but they shoved cravity with cosmic girls and you know how cosmic girls gets hardly anything or promoted right.
Even with doing so well on Kingdom you barely hear shit from Cravity. Sure a comeback but let's be real they have NO CLEAR DIRECTION. Sure debut another bg but why don't you fix your problems first lol

I am so glad Cosmic Girls have individual contracts with Chinese and Taiwanese entertainment companies too. But yeah I do know what you mean. I kinda wish Cravity would talk to WJSN and get into discussions with Chinese, Taiwanese or Japanese entertainment companies to at least have activities while the Ship has them on pause.

Starship isn't doing enough with Cravity, even with their activities in Japan. They failed to capitalize on the exposure from Kingdom, though, to be fair, most people were more focused on being upset about Oneus competing again. The show's structure felt off this time, and Hwanwoong's cocky attitude didn't help.
The biggest issue fans point out is Cravity’s lack of a clear direction. Every comeback feels like a reset, with no consistent storyline or identity. This isn't about mistreatment—it’s about Starship not maximizing their potential. You can’t hear a song and immediately think, That’s Cravity.

There's no timeline where this doesn't flop. It feels like this is a case of "we have to spend this pile of cash somehow", which is strange after how much effort and preparation seemed to go into KiiiKiii.
Can't win them all, at least KiiiKiii is doing very well. Even if they light 100% of their cash on fire IVE profits would carry the company for another 10 years so it's not like they're taking any risks here.
I'm also a WJSN fan but somehow I have to give a tiny bit of benefit of the doubt to Starship. I feel like the group shifted course around the time Bona had her massive acting success. Not long after that some of the members decided to not re-sign their contracts. If there's no contract then Starship doesn't even have the power to make a comeback happen, it'll only happen if the members without a contract agree to do it. It's possible they're just not that interested in being idols anymore.
Usually when a company puts a group in the dungeon against their will there will be some signs of that, like lashing out at the company in public, but I've never seen any of that with WJSN. You also see about half the members working with Starship on solo activities so it doesn't seem like Starship screwed them over somehow.
Fans seem very eager to assume Starship decided to just kill the group off but something about that theory doesn't add up for me.

there is a rumor tho that most of members which remained now has contracts with King Kong by Starship, which is Starship's agency for actors
this is probably why most are filming dramas, Yeonjung is doing musicals which of course had lot of singing but acting as well, just in theatre
I'm just not sure what will happen with Soobin and Yeoreum, first one doesn't seem to want to do anything not related to music and second one is a dancer, she made it to EL7Z UP in Queendom Puzzle but MNet miserably failed that group.
