Both are hella mid, but the chase is less mid

The Chase was great! Loved it first listen and gets better every day!

I Do Me is cute and a great pre debut song I think their actual debut is end of March!

I do me is a decent and rather catchy song. the problem isn't really the song, the problem is the execution. both in production and specially vocally. the vocals are (overall) quite mediocre. no personality, no charm, and very limited musicality. it makes the song sound very basic, very amateur.

it just felt like most of the song was sung by soemone like (live) Eunchae but with a slightly less annoying vocal tone yet with nothing interesting to offer. therefore even tho the song is rather catchy (even tho pretty basic), i don't wanna go back to it and listen. so that song is a skip for me. a flopy typa blop.

it seems to me that starship was more focused on finding njz members clones than caring about the vocal harmony and vocal identity of the group .

So i chose the chase because even tho it's also a blop, i wouldn't call it a flopy blop. more like a mid blop.

the production is decent and the execution pretty nice. nothing outstanding overall tho despite some beautiful moments.

but overall the song lacks something, not just a catchier and less (dearing) chorus, but also more... star factor and personality?

First listen, I liked I do me better, but then after I watched the performances I changed my mind. I don't think the chase should be flopping so bad compared to i do me.

but anyways i choose i do me because the chase is a terrible song; i thought it might grow on me but it did the opposite. its genuinely insufferable besides that one part.

"I do me" for me, it has more feeling than the other song

I prefer The Chase. The vocals are smooth.
