I have no idea who, if anyone, she was referencing with this line (assuming she even wrote it) but it was nonetheless a dangerously controversial line to include in one of her songs given the common, alternate meaning of "sponsor" within Kpop circles, and though she aspires to western celebirty, she is still a Kpop idol.
