What are chances of H2H being the NMIXX/BM to Aespa's Twice/BP?

    wish them the best but replicating that level of success is very difficult

    They'll flop based on the info we've got so far. Concept is childish and the visuals are a huge decline... they are not ugly but compared to all the other SM ggs they look like nugus,

    slim to none. they seem like they will grow into their music and image well just like aespa did.

    but in contrary of BM and NMIXX, H2H have an advantage :


    NMIXX flopped cuz JYP tried to go for this conceptual GG with experimental music, but they didn't have the knowledge that SM had in experimental and conceptual groups to know how to make NMIXX works so it flopped


    as for BM, there was no real hype for them besides being BP sister group, but no YG groups were successfull at this time and the whole reason of BP success was mainly because of Teddy touch

    Teddy left YG and since this YG groups have been struggling, their image still have the YG fit but without the Teddy touch in their music it's lacking something.


    On the other side the advantage of H2H is that SM ent already have experience in promoting a generic GG with a big lineup with SNSD

    and Musically SM groups have see a big improvements since LSM left


    But Kpop is impredictable, they could be really successfull or they can flop

    there's a tons of group we thought will be really big like BM, Meovv, Illit etc.. who lose steam


    and groups that nobody would have bet on them become successfull like KIOF


    so we can never 100% predict how it'll turns out

    Honestly I think they’ll be big! Their engagement is really high already and they’ve been receiving nothing but support from Knets :oops:


    It’s not like SM is new to this concepts :?: I would call early MILK and SES very innocent concepts type too! and people have been asking for a bigger SM girl group before aespa debut so the demand is there :/


    Visuals are there and the members are getting 60k plus likes in minutes on twitter fan accounts already!


    It’ll be a funny twist if they were successful right from debut as SM gg usually do mid at debut and start rising with comebacks :/

    Forgot to add people expected Nmixx to be the second Twice but they became a Fx/aespa hybrid and people wanted BM to be YG’s ver of Snsd/Twice as they’ve been talking about having this type of concept for so long but instead they continued doing the YG style!


    People have been asking for another Snsd/Ses concept for awhile so now Sm seems to be delivering I can only see support :oops:


    Their concept is fitting as members are young too! Rumors this was meant to be aespa concept but Giselle changed the vibe but I think it fits H2H perfectly!

    I'm starting to think gigi is the lucky charm of aespa

    - she change the concept of aespa and it's what made them successfull


    - in 2023 she said that she wanted to bring back Aespa core in 2024, they did it and it become the most successfull year for aespa


    - she did a recording test for Next Level and directly after SM decided to change the concept of the group, and Next Level ended up becoming one of the biggest 4th gen song

    that is all untrue. White Fox was based around Lami, and Aespa was based around Karina. SM doesn't even listen to their most profitable senior artists, why on earth would they listen to Giselle

    aren't you guys tired? you sound like those bp antis. I could use a similar argument with aespa if I want to downplay their achievements.


    blackpink was successful because of many reasons, Star quality, catchy music and their music attract icing a bigger audience, also I feel concept and their fashion influence make them more appealing to attract more fans

    Besides teddy hasn't produced all blackpink songs if anything people have been complaining how he has rehashing many bp's songs


    YG's groups struggling has to do more with YG's brand nowadays
