Just as a new Bunny, I suppose, and an outsider, they look good in everything to me.

its not really lolita tho??
It's the combination of makeup that looks like young teenage girls that have found their mother's pr sister's makeup and put on makeup for the first time (too much), the clothing style and the general vibe in some of the photos that is a bit... eh.... But I guess it's what MHJ called the"pure and innocent girls ready for advanture" concept or what ever she called it.

wait... did mhj actually say that? that would be funny
but yeah, i see your point, in the sense that it's childish and young looking I remember overdoing it when I first did makeup

As soon as you move on from shit posting in literally every NewJeans thread.
You complain about the amount of threads being made, yet I see you in each and every one leaving comments like this, attempting to derail them with more of your hateful rhetoric.
Stalking threads like this just to troll has to be a rules violation of some kind.

Did you not get the memo that we should not talk with each other ?

I would call it "loud". I don't see the problem with the make up and styling, it's teenage-like but they are still really young so it fits. I grew up in the early 2000s though and that time had crazzzzzy fashion. Crazy bad. So I do tolerate many stiles and I see the charm in NJ's fashion. I'm cool as long as the jeans remain over the hips.

Ofc the first comment is from him

They look like young teens to you and yet you had no problems speculating over their sex lives

Hype Boy remains the best era styling wise for me but I'll admit my fashion sense is extremely basic

It is a Y2K teenager concept, which fits their age range, especially when these photos were taken.

There is a word called 풋풋하다. The direct translation is a bit off, but it is fresh/full of life. It is used to describe someone young. It is like a mixture describing youthful energy, innocence, cuteness, aesthetics and delicate nature of that time period. It isn't something that can be replicated when you are older.
When Kpop producers talk about the age where certain concepts can be explored, Westerners mistake them for being creeps, but they are talking about the age where idols possess 풋풋함.

No problem. It is just hard, because there are certain words that describes a concept or it can change dependent on context.
This is what happened when MHJ talked about Minji when she was young. People don't have the cultural context as to what she was talking about.
Here is a good example. Soyeon from (G)-idle said this in an interview about idols debuting at such an early age. She said she had a slightly negative opinion on it, but she recently changed her mind.

It must be amazing that such moments could be captured(there is a record of it).'
Then later in the interview there was a question where the host asked, "Was there a concept you've always wanted to try that you weren't able to?"
She answered, 'When we debuted, we had a bit of a strong image. I wish we had done something more innocent. Something that would contain the feeling of youthfulness/freshness(풋풋함) that exists when we were young.'

I think both translations does the best to capture the intent behind the words being spoken, but it misses that last 10% that can't be translated. If done by MTL or someone not familiar with the context behind the words, her words can seem creepy and some would infer she is fetishizing youthfulness.
