i just watch dance practice videos since the mv stuff in recent years has been kinda eh. can't really blame 'em since it's pretty hard to come up with a fresh mv concept without the whole thing devolving into some bizarro mish-mash of what's trendy, obligatory corporate meddling and drug induced fever dream weirdo ideas from the director and writer-- and sometimes even from the members themselves

which do you lyk more: mv or dance practice?

MV or fancams depending on the group and song. I rarely watch dance practices.

I LIKE dance practices more because I can watch the full choreographies.
I LIKE MVs to see what concepts the groups are going for.

MV for me

Dance practice videos are good for appreciating the choreography.
MVs are great for appreciating the concept and creativity.
Both are great. MVs are essential, so if we could only have one, I would choose the MV. You said you dislike MVs because they feel like "fever dream weirdo ideas." I actually think that's what makes them entertaining and interesting. It's another dimension to the art in K-pop.
JesseAlex I just saw your post, and I swear I didn't see it before I said that.
We have the exact same thoughts on this.
