Hollywood makeup is too harsh on her, she looks better with korean style makeup. Some hollywood makeup looks did look okay, but her vmas look was too much.

I like both and her Hollywood make up is matching her concept so. And in some events she looked absolutely goddess.

I agree. I saw Taemin without makeup, just his skin tone, and his skin was shining like gold. On the contrary, I thought Korean makeup made it look much worse. Since Lisa has olive skin tone, any make-up looks good on her, but I think she looks better with intense bold make-up. So her appearance becomes more striking. Some kpop fans have definitely been brainwashed by Koreans' makeup standards. Korean makeup turn your face into a ghost look, then apply some pinkish lipstick. I became a fan of Lisa when I saw her style at the VMAs. She looks so sweet.
