Denizens of AKP React to NewJeans' "Ignore It" Controversy

  • In a recent article posted by AKP, titled, "ADOR responds to NewJeans' ultimatum D-day: 'Belift Lab, show a sincere attitude,'" many people in the comment section have vocalized their criticism of a specific event that "outlines an overlying anti-NewJeans sentiment at HYBE."

Some think that the "Ignore It" controversy was blown out of proportion:

    • "It is still incredulous that NewJeans has milked one perceived incident of disregard, so far as to frame it as workplace bullying and mistreatment. Good thing such chicanery has been thrown out, and now they have no ultimatum to wilfully break their contract for free."
    • "Yes, timing is key. Also let’s not forget on of the other members was going around the Hybe building putting up aespa stickers all over the walls. Clearly, she thinks having the top floor and privileges allows her to run a mock in her own house. Shows that they never thought they were a Hybe label. Not a good reflection of their characters."
    • "Just skip all this mediaplay nonsense and go straight to court. As for the b**** and whiners complaining about the 5 girls being ignored, there have been a lot of remarks by senior idols that their juniors don't greet them properly. Do you think they have a case to sue these junior groups for bullying and harassment? Sounds pretty stupid now, doesn't it. Like I said, go straight to court, have the law put these entitled girls in their place - the dungeon. The MHJ cult**** will no doubt continue barking pointlessly."

While others vocalize support for NewJeans and are calling for the manager responsible for it being held accountable:

    • "One incident? It outlines an overlying anti-NewJeans sentiment at HYBE which is the issue. The fact that BeLift had to make a statement that said “And ILLIT members never passed by NewJeans without greeting them” when no such accusation was made in order to victimize the ILLIT members tells you how calculated and malicious they are. A truly biased statement would’ve been to say they have talked with the manager and even though she denies it they will make sure everyone at HYBE will be treated with respect instead of taking an aggressive stance against NewJeans by BeLift executives, who werent even there, blindly calling Hanni a liar and demanding an apology."
    • "But as usual people who don’t even bother to look up what’s really happening are taking that one issue and running with it saying that newjeans are over reacting which is happening in this very comment section and every other one about the group and making it seem like they have no reason to be doing this other than mhj and being ignored."

What do you think? Is this controversy merely an overreaction or does it truly outline the anti-NewJeans rhetoric that many HYBE employees possess?

  • What I think doesn't matter, it's what I know. And I don't know shit. There's not enough to say definitively either way imo.

What I will say is on Hanni's particular complaint, is that yes it may superficially not sound like a big deal but I don't think it's fair to dismiss it because of that. I personally know I've had experiences that to me were traumatic but when I explain it someone else, they don't think it's a big deal.

Was the "ignore me" just another symptom of an underlying campaign against NewJeans? If so, I would easily agree with it not being an overreaction. But if it's an isolated situation, I can't really say. It doesn't seem like a big deal on the outside, but Hanni thinks it was, and I think that means something.

  • HYBE is the one who blew it out of proportion. Hanni simply mentioned it on a live stream and HYBE took it to the court to refute that the incident didn't occur. HYBE took the accusation more seriously than they should have and tried to look noble, with the result ironically backfiring terribly.

  • We really don't need a thread spotlighting the unfiltered idiocy that reigns supreme in the comments section of AKP articles, which have obviously been brigaded by ARMY. Their only value is to make fun of forum regulars who go there to reveal their true character and leave pathetic, petty hate comments while masquerading as someone with intelligence and integrity when posting here.

Long story short, nobody here really cares what the prevailing sentiments are in the comments section.

You might as well make threads about YT comments and make a thread called "denizens of YouTube"

  • The whole ignore her controversy made no sense to me. MHJ was dragging ill-it in her press conference and causing the girls to get hate, of course, their manager would tell them to ignore Hanni, was it right? No, but it wasn't like it didn't make sense. There has been a lot of worse shit that has happened to idols than being told to be ignored.

More than half of the threads you make is not a "need." Yet that doesn't stop you from making it.

Yes, because I have an actual personality, know the pulse of this community and have an unparalleled skill for getting the reactions I want out of people, like I've just done to you.

We are not the same. It's like comparing your output in your local rec league to my Hall of Fame numbers in the NBA.

No, Bunnies will not seriously discuss this bad-faith thread made to platform idiotic comments from the AKP main site.

all we have is a lot of talk and threats and alleged evidence - whether that amounts to anything will be determined up to the courts since neither side is apparently backing down
