Soyeon has always been very outspoken, confident and risky in her raps, so I'm not surprised.

But it's clear the rap is directed to the haters. Although I wouldn't say it's necessary a diss to Soojin, just mentioning this incident.

I'm more curious that she said "G-idle is eternal" and that the end of contract is nothing. If she's set to leave Cube, what's going to happen next? I guess we'll see in a while.

That's certainly an opinion you're entitled to have, but I can't say I agree.

Just putting this out there:
Since G-idle's debut, if Soyeon didn't take the active role that she did officially as the leader, their company, blockberry creative, would have cause much more harm to G-idle than would have happened otherwise. She's lived up to the role fully and beyond and earned my and likely most others' respect as well.

I will concede it might feel cringe if one didn't follow them since debut and had seen everything that had been done in real time.

Soyeon's rap was amazing.

Fantastic beat and flow, some really good rhymes, delivered a very powerful message and had some interesting parts that meant it would make some noise.

When you've got an agency as terrible as Cube at certain things, only way to make some noise is bring it on the performance stage. Soyeon knows how to make some hubbub each year.

I'm convinced people like yourself will find whatever she says cringe. Nothing wrong with boasting that she's the leader, the major reason Idle are where they are is because of her. Taking pride in your accomplishments is the opposite of cringe.

As I said, she could say "hello" and people like yourself would find it cringe. Run back to your manufactured idols who can only follow stage directions, you'll find succor in the emptiness.

I know a lot of fans think they would want to leave Cube, because of the way they are treated. I also hope they won't disband, it wouldn't make sense when they are so popular. If Soyeon really decides to leave Cube, I think she might work it out to still promote with the group, just more on her terms, maybe. She really is a vital member, it would be hard to imagine the group without her and her music.
