What are your laws as to being a K-pop fan?

  • Thank you for sharing more of your morals that you have towards being a K-pop fan, I really do enjoy reading them all <3:claps:

  • Understand from where they are coming from and their culture. The phrases they use might not be the same for us in our country. So stop giving your opinion on their culture.

This is one where I do agree with, many of us K-pop fans come from diverse backgrounds, so it can be challenging for some of us to full learn about a new culture. <3

  • 1. Knowing that the group I like will go through member changes and disband someday and therefore not stressing about it when the time comes.

    2. Not getting too involved in the fandom (akp is the only place where I do get involved ). Especially not on twitter.

3.Enjoying it while it's fun and never letting myself feel that stanning someone is a chore. If I do start feeling like that, it's to take a break.

I really like these three morals that you have, they are definitely big ones to keep in mind as fans

  • 1.) Enjoy the music/ passion of kpop.

2.) You don't have to go with the flow. Also, just because your favs me not be popular or liked, doesn't mean you should stop stanning them.

3.) Don't be afraid to stan whoever, even if they aren't known or whatever. Everyone has different taste, so long as you enjoy the music/ content, who cares :*

4.) Don't be afraid to multi stan, it'll be weird if you only followed one group/ idol, get some variety.

5.) Respect Kpop rules and how they do things, it may not be to everyone's liking, but Korea has a different culture and that's the way it is.

  • 1. no shipping (i'm talking insane shipping and going on v-live and spamming ship names)

    2. no one's an enemy

    3. please do not bully idols or tell them to kys ok that's just.. that's too much

    4. opinions should be heard and people shouldn't harass people for them either

    5. don't comment on an idol's body (they already have idol life to worry about, comments about their body can be hurtful)

    6. do not stalk them/be a sasaeng. please do not terrorize idols bc it's scary to them and it fucks with their schedule/life

    7. streams and charts are just streams and charts

    8. do not get angry at someone because they like a certain group. you could actually have a lot in common!

    9. remain level-headed against keyboard warriors

    10. don't try to steal the culture if you're not a part of it. please, it is creepy and weird.

  • 1. I love them for their public persona, they love me as part of their fans, but we don't have an actual 'relationship'.

    2. Which means that they will always do what they think is best for them. They are adults, and I don't have a say in their career ( or even personal ) choices.

    3. I respect that they won't share everything with me. If they don't want me to know about their friends, s/o, mental health struggles etc... then it's not my place to dig and try to find out. This is their business and the best thing I can do is respect that.

    Also, fandom-wise :

    4. Every fanbase had people who are toxic and problematic, and I won't let it influence my enjoyement of the group, nor I will generalize this fanbase based on these people.

    5. Stay away from twitter drama

  • Dummi just summed up, how i feel about it!
