BTS might have to perform Suga-free in Korea at least for a while.

  • I would really like it if BTS performed Sugar free

  • Jun K and Nichkhun from 2pm were caught drunk driving, they still performed with their group.

Daesung ran over a motorcyclist and that didn't stop him from promoting with bigbang.

I don't think the situation is going to be different with Suga. Things got worse after people found out he lied. But still, the worst that could happen is that he's not going to promote his solo songs in S. Korea, however I'm pretty sure he's going to continue performing with bts.

He didn't tho. Everything he said in his apology seems to be true. What we don't know is his exact bac, we'll found it out sooner or later.

  • In the end it’s all about money. I can’t see SK cutting him out as the group brings the country billions in revenue. There is still a long time till discharge and many other dramas will happen before then to quiet this down.

    Times have changed

JunK and NIchkhun no longer really promotes in Korea anymore, only Junho does

Daesung's accident was found to be the other guy's fault

And they were much less scrunitized than BTS

Some the arguments used to drag BTS to the military was 'positive influence'

And they cannot use such arguments ever again if they use Suga in Korean perfs

So it will probably be Suga free in Korea

  • She does not drive and whatever she had done did not cause bodily harm

And there are several incidents in Korea where drunk driving caused big stir

So it is not a trivial matter

And a certain head of a certain Hybe label and her fans won't forget to stir the pot once in a while just so people in Korea do not forget.

  • It is not trivial, but neither is it Burning Sun.

Oh they will sure stir the pot, after all you have been "frying the 'anchovy'" for 13 years now(?), but it will have diminishing returns.

  • Jun K and Nichkhun still promote with their group, they had a comeback a couple years ago, they went on knowing bros. Maybe they don't promote their solo projects but their activities with their group weren't really affected.

Daesung was proven innocent but he still received a lot of unnecessary hate and his reputation took a hit to the point he stopped promoting solo in korea (he has a very successful solo career in Japan tho). But he still went on with his activities with bigbang.

I think it's going to be the same with Suga. His image is definitely going to be affected but he's going to continue promoting with BTS in SK (but not solo).

Yes, Suga is receiving a lot of criticism but that's to be expected from a member of the most popular kpop group. With time hate is going to die down and by the time the other members are discharged from the military, they're going to comeback as 7, hopefully.

Min Heejin is not me. She is the master of creating images, and she will have another weapon in her arsenal to fire when they return.
