They love the money they generated as BTS member, but after over a decade of putting up that front of being these global class idols who's only girlfriend is their fans, having the pressure to be role model to millions of youths and keeping up with all their fan communications and requests it must get extremely exhausting. There comes a point when a man just says 'screw it, I got mine. I don't need to care about yall anymore'.
It makes sense some BTS members got tired of that lifestyle

They renewed to keep milking the fans and probably they are too scared to defy bang pd by refusing to renew with him, he must have got plenty of dirt on them.

Just like what happened with Irene?
Irene hates the idol lifestyle so much that she's still active and recently renewed her contract at the age of 33.

People stay in jobs they hate for decades just for the money. That's the real world

Once someone become famous, successful and rich, he doesn't need to maintain the perfect idol image.

Yeah you do. People that rich enjoy the rich lifestyle= owning expensive houses, expensive fancy cars and wearing Rolex and 100,000$ jewelry and Gucci clothing 24/7. They renew contract and keep up this fascade because they want to remain rich. Dropping that image etc ensures you don't keep the fame and money as eventually your money dries up as nobody is buying your stuff and that expensive extravagant lifestyle drains your bank account.

Of that life style? He didn't change his life style (whatever that meant) he operated a vehicle while being drunk. That's not a life style, you get fined for diu's and if you repeat the offense you can get jailed.
Also, he literally has a drinking show where his guests bring drinks and they talk about their careers. Nobody is surprised he likes to drink, the issue here is that he lied and his high blood alcohol level.
You can critisize or make fun of him in so many ways and this was your attempt. You need to try better.

They were never “my fans are my girlfriends” kind of idols though despite no official dating news. They never pretended to be perfect too. I think it’s just you and the other haters thinking of them that way. So when news like this comes up you feel validated that yeah told you they aren’t perfect.
This DUI incident is extremely disappointing tbh. Being alcoholic or depressed doesn’t give you a pass to be this stupid.

That's not a good argument. Many people fucking hate their job but gotta keep doing it to earn money. For her staying on rv is easy pasive money

People keep doing jobs they hate just to make ends meet. I can assure you this doesn't apply to her. It's also not an "easy" job. If she actually wanted to, she could quit tomorrow, buy a building or two in Seoul like so many others, and spend the rest of her life never having to work again.

You assume SM idols automatically earn a shit load of money, but SM takes a big chunk of the earnings and RV aren't a group selling out huge concerts every year. For sure Irene can live comfortably without being a celebrity but she not only has to support herself but also her family and she wants a nice life for them, as she comes from a humble background compared to golden spoon idols. That's going to require more jobs and gigs SM can get for her.

I don't assume they automatically do anything. You make it sound like they haven't accomplished anything. The demonstrable success speaks for itself. You don't have to "sell out huge concerts" to be successful and make loads of money. They're all multi-millionaires at this point. This isn't even debatable.

True but pretty sure they've more power than regular people.
