New Jeans deserve all the praise they get this year 
Although it’s been a controversial year for them, their music has not suffered in fact, i prefer their 2024 releases to previous years 
How can you listen to these songs and not like them 
how ?!
Supernatural > How Sweet > Bubble gum > Right now for me 
but i like all of them
They are not up to my taste at all, except their song called Gods which I recently discovered. If they want rebranding release more songs like Gods!!!!
Even if I didn’t like a single song they released this year, I will rank them

As for New Jeans, yeah, they've had a great year and solidified their fanbase which is a good thing.

Yeah I firstly heard the Aespa version lol, and couldn’t believe that it was Newjeans song!
And I love Aespa version more tooo!!
As for How Sweet, It is the most boring and flat NewJeans song for me!
And glad they got rid of token stans like Aespa did in 2022

I've been saying that Supernatural is their best song since Ditto since it's release. It even outclasses Super Shy for me or Cool with you.
Glad you can also aknowledge that their music this year was great. Even Bubble Gum is such a gem.
Just because it's not doing the same numbers as other songs (and for whatever reason), some people/fools may downplay the greatness of their latest releases but i personally think this year has been phenomenal for njs.
And definitly consolidated them as the most interesting, intricate, ambitious top musical act of korea and hopefully in the world.
How sweet is also really good but for me it's still more of a bside than a title track. Like Asap or Hurt. Same with Right Now. But I love both How Sweet and Right now so so much.
That's because both of these songs are definitly more indie than pop really. That's why they don’t fall into the more classical kpop with a strong hook + bridge typa song.
But their quality is insane. And they're both bops in my opinion. But more alt bops than pop ones if you get what i mean.
Genuinely shocked how many people like Right Now might make a separate thread toll to see peoples fav NJ release this year curious if people prefer Right Now to Supernatural
