Another misunderstanding. For the international stage, the representatives are selected by the Olympics international committee and sponsors, not South Korea

South Korea selected some celebrities like Yoo jaesuk and others for their relay race in the Korea 2018 Olympics. But for the international stage, only Kim Yuna and now BTS have been given this privilege
