    And people saying the "the song is bigger than the group"

    Automatically a song being vig enough to be #1 on melon yearly charts would have an impact on the group itself


    If it's #1 it means it's so big that people just can't ignore who's the group singing it


    I'm just gonna take another example, for example riize "get a guitar " did well in charts because it went very viral on tik tok and people trying to reproduce the choregraphy

    And thanks to this you can see how it influence their charting after, with all their title track pretty much entering top 100 in the first hour


    You're not going to tell me that a song being more viral than get a guitar doesn't have any effect on the group charting

    QWER also has a viral song Discord, but T.H.B rose after a week of release too.

    Songs can be bigger than the group sometimes, the concept exists.
