NEXZ Korean Debut Tracklist

  • Why tf JYPE is debuting a completely Japanese boy group (which was advertised and promoted primarily in Japan during the survival show) in Korea first, I'll never know. Probably a way to attract the international KPOP community, but not sure how that's gonna work out. But, either way, I'm seated.

  • So It's similar to NiziU approach (a japanese group debuting in Korea), but doing It earlier?

I'm not sure If It's a good idea. It would be better to put them to focus on Japan and debut Quiri (?) already for Korea/Global

Yeah, they are marketing them as a "Global Boy Group", so my guess is they are going to have a Korean, Japanese, and English (eventually) debut.

Which, you know, I expected that. But, I just don't get why they are debuting in Korea 1st? :pepestare:

NiziU officially debuted in Japan 1st and then Korea after they established themselves in Japanese. NEXZ's fanbase is primarily Japanese right now since their survival show was mostly promoted in Japan, so I don't see what benefit they have from going to Korea.

My only guess is like I said, they want to tap into the KPOP international fanbase, who usually ignore Japanese groups tbh. Maybe they are trying to learn from NiziU, who has a very solid Japanese fanbase but lack a strong international fanbase. They can easily sell out stadiums in Japan, but physically, they aren't selling as well as Twice, ITZY, and NMIXX. NMIXX also went on a "world tour" before them even though they debuted 1st.

  • For me NiziU's route was the best, debuting in Korea only after a

stabilized japanese popularity. Everything going wrong, at least they have a market to comeback. As a boygroup, I believe NEXZ could make even more money from physicals/merch/touring than NiziU, in the future, despite probably lacking the same public recognition. If It happens, they wouldn't need Korea at all.

And the resources they are spending on Korea/Global market, they could let for debuting the other boygroup later.

But JYPE's ambition to want to have everything at once speaks louder ;judgingpepe:

  • Yeah, I agree.

Fangirls ain't no joke. Fanboys can sometimes hold their own, but they can't hold a candle to how much a fangirl is willing to spend lol. :pepe-cha-ching:

Apparently JYPE is also planning on debuting another Korean GG next year as well as 2 other BGs. Even though they have Xdinary Heroes, VCHA, NEXZ, and NMIXX.

So, yeah, I think at this point they are just throwing whatever at the wall and hoping something sticks.

If i had to guess, NiziU prob had the same plan, as they were always marketed as global girl group, and get pinned as kpop/global in japan.

but the show was so popular and make you happy was so insane they just stayed in house
