Confirming what I have often thought:

Some "Blinks" are actually more YG stans than they care about the girls.

And often it's exactly those kind of "Blinks" that start and fight most fanwars.

They don't care about BP.

They just care about using them and their success to fight their hate-targets from other companies.

It's my theory that at least part of the ARMY vs Blinks fanwars were started by fans of a certain YG BG that hated BTS and used BP to continue this fight because their own faves were no longer competitive.
