Why do k-pop companies fight so publically?
-
-
they try to swing the public option.
-
How do you known they don't fight behind the scenes
-
They do that to make kpop bigger than before, it's all for the industry benefits.
They can battle without harming innocent idols, but what do we have here?
How are these Hybe's sub-labels' CEOs going to stroll by each other from now on after fighting each other, it be awkward, not professional at all. -
I'm sure taking it public is the last resort not the first...
I'm pretty sure MHJ tried to contract Bang or however is in charge of Illit to voice her concerns and either was dismissed or given an answer she did not like and thus the whole sequence of events unfolded...
and if it turns out that keeping it within company walls doesn't work - one tries the public angle to get the public on your side before ultimately (if necessary) going to court...
but courts are long and arduous and expensive and again used as a last resort...much better to settle the matter before it reaches a trial

yeah, taking things publicly (not via leaks) is usually a sign that one party is losing the fight and needs an extra element as a hail mary

it's a good strategy though if it does work...
because even if it doesn't do anything tangible it still creates a lasting impression in people's minds regardless of the ultimate "legal" outcome
