Why do you think full GG's are still going to Knowing Bros but not to Running Man?

Running man exists?! Those guys are old as hell!

Running Man

1. The theme rarely focus on the idols promoting

2. Chance of getting edited out is higher if you dont stand out

3. More physical, high chance of getting injured(although less than before)

Knowing Brothers

1. Inside the studio(more convenient)

2. A lot more on interviewing the idols

3. Guest rarely get edited out

At least on Running Man you won't have old men (or Heechul) leering at you the entire time.

The golden age of Korean variety shows is long dead. More groups should do like Twice and create their own variety program for YouTube.

They go to variety to promote and enjoy, not to be tired as deadbeat

Running Man is filmed over the whole day or 2, while Knowing Brothers takes far less time to film.

Running Man also needs to build sets, arrange locations and has a much more involved work contribution over KB that literally goes from Story Board to filming.

So the overall logistics of Running Man require a longer commitment that could be interrupted as opposed to KB which is a standard Variety Show that Idols can fit into their schedule more easily.

I will say that RM is more exclusive as to who they invite

they won't just invite any random kpop group - you gotta be popular I think

Because they're in an enclosed space inside of a studio for Knowing Bros.

On the other hand, I guess Running Man has outdoor activities where members participate in multiple locations with the cast and some may not want to do so because they think they may not do well and they back out when asked. Or sometimes it's to allow some members to take breaks for health reasons so they don't appear in the show at all. Or it could be the producers saying they only need a select few for the limited time frame of filming the episodes, hence why other members get excluded.
