Most of their identities have been exposed, and one guy has had several nasty pannchoa articles written about him because of his past. So, yeah, I don't think they are joking.

This is so ugly and dystopian for some reason but tbh there are anime character themed cafes in Japan so Idk why this disgusts me far more it just feels like an actual replacement of real people

They are real people with feelings, but I don't like this new trend with animated Idols, because it's toxic. Why? Because the fact that they were in a group once, but flopped, and now they can be successful, because they're cute animated boys says everything about Kpop fans, and the industry.

They're representing the most toxic part of Kpop and the fanbase. It's not their fault, obviously, but still true!

PLAVE is basically made up of guys from former groups like Hotshot and Topp Dogg.

Yano is one of them, and he had a mixtape where he wrote some very misogynistic and homophobic lyrics. So, when it was exposed that he was the guy behind Eunho in PLAVE, people were upset. And he wrote an apology.

Some people said that some members have a history of being violent? But, I don't know anything about that. That could just be people saying whatever on Twitter/X. The only thing I know about it is the whole misogynistc/homophobic lyrics thing.
