NewJeans antis need to get their story straight

Every single time I see anyone, not even specifically Tokkis, discuss NewJeans' impact on K-Pop anywhere, there are always loud voices of protest calling it hyperbole and accusing Tokkis of being toxic and arrogant.

It's the usual vitriolic nonsense:

"Don't be delusional. These trends existed before NewJeans"

"Other groups used these strategies"

"There's nothing fresh about them. These concepts pre dated them"

"There is no NewJeans impact"

But like clockwork, every time I see discussion of a new girl group release, I can't go ten comments without seeing people complaining about song length and "boring low key chill music" and then blaming it on NewJeans

Want upvotes on Reddit? Just bash NewJeans for ruining K-Pop with "made for TikTok" songs and having no upbeat tracks.

I just want antis to pick a narrative and stick to it. Did NewJeans have no impact on the industry or are they ruining K-Pop? Thanks in advance for letting me know
