Which parent are you closer to and why?

my mum, we see things more similarly and we’re kind of each others’ therapists. It’s good to talk to her, compared to my dad who doesn’t seem to take me seriously (still his “baby girl” aha)

Mom. I'm sure it would be like this regardless but it contributed they divorced like over a decade ago and I havent lived with my dad for like half of my life. Have good relationship with him tho but I was just always closer with my mom lol

I'm closer to my mum, although I always had a difficult relationship to my parents. My dad had a difficult childhood himself and especially when i was younger we suffered a lot of mental abuse from him. My mum was alwys doing her best to give us at least food and a roof over our heads and being older now, I understand more of what she's enduring, so I wanna help her and do more for her. I moved out and that did a lot for bettering my relationship with my parents.

Mom have always been closer to me, because my dad was always drunk and now he is dead. That is one reason why I almost never drink alcohol.
