What do you love the most about your favorite groups and idols?

    Well, I have many faves, most of them are my faves because they're talented, and I love their music, versatility. That's the main thing I want to see from any artist. I don't like to see or hear the same things.


    Because I have many faves, I won't write a whole about everyone, and Mamamoo is a pretty good example of what I want from an artist. Not just in Kpop. They're one of the most talented vocalists, musicians, and performers, BUT that's not the reason I love them. Their personality what that differentiates them from other groups. There are other talented groups, but you can't find another Mamamoo. Anyone who watched their personal videos, BTS vids or variety shows, they know what I mean. Kpop is all about fake things, and I don't think we could name a lot of Kpop singer or group who can be themselves in a way like Mamamoo doing it.


    I know others can't do it, because they're not allowed, but it's not like MMM was allowed, they just didn't care, and I love that attitude! Talent and skills after all these.


    That's why I love IU too, she's like a Korean fairy godmother. 🤣

    It may seem almost like a cliche at this point, but their music is truly just easy and pleasant to listen to. There is never a time where I'm just not in the mood for NewJeans' music. If I'm in a more melancholy or nostalgic mood, few K-Pop songs hit like Ditto, and when I need a sugary sweet boost to get out of funk during the day, nothing hits like "I'm Super Shy! Super Shy!" or "Cause I know what you like, boy!"

    its holding up really well too. how many kpop songs sound aged out and brittle after like 6 months? my favourite songs are still on their debut EP from like mid-2022

    but like? my favs are usually my favs because of their personalities (or at least what they show of it on camera) and if I can resonate with that then usually they become my favs


    I guess the other thing is group cohesion and chemistry
