What are your thoughts on 4th Gen K-Pop?

one thing that I've seen recently is that (at least for GG) there is a lot more interactions between groups now...

it's not even just dance challenges but they honestly are friends and hang out and sometimes even publicly on camera!!!

Good music, a lot of successful ggs

4th gen is great. While I like the girlgroups music better, the boys make better music than 2nd gen by far. I do realize lately that even in 3rd gen it was only a few boygroups making good songs

Even though I started as a K-pop stan in 3rd gen's peak and when 2nd gen was fading, 4th gen is my favorite generation is terms of music on average. I like more groups than previous ones.

Honestly it sucks. This Gen's music is the worst, most of the hit songs from 4th Gen groups just don't hit the same as 3rd and 2nd Gen hits. Everybody is lipsyncing and companies have stopped actually training their idols correctly. We have more scandals where members are put on hiatus or kicked out just to find out later they were innocent, and kpop fans have gotten more toxic and annoying. Idols are barely even allowed to react at award shows, nobody even interacts anymore, everything feels so manufactured and lifeless. The only good thing to come out of this gen was New Jeans but by 5th Gen who knows what their music will be like.

I think 4th Generation K-pop is really cool! It's awesome to see how they are creating new music.
