Im not a fan of Korean songs turned English but if its intended to be English from the start, I'm okay with it.
Ironically a large chunk of Kpop songs start out as English demos and are then converted into Korean, but we never see that part.
This thread is really eye opening. Even the most rabid defenders are cautious. Sad.
And to the contrary, you should be thrilled with them seemingly returning to an older sound , but of course you're not. You're never happy with anything.

Hmm it's a bit different because they turn that English sample into Korean and edit the beat and stuff to work around it.
But once you've done that and turn it into Korean. To then turn that back into English usually makes it sound weird because now you have to fit the English lyrics into the beat/tempo/syllables/rhyme of the Korean song. -
