I remember when I tried to learn French before travelling to Canada, but then I found out that it was useless because I was in the English-speaking part of that country.

But no regrets because it was fun learning that language.

There is a thing called ‘multicultural’ families you know? Especially if Lisa’s step dad is Swiss-French, he can have family also in France. Her life doesn’t always have to be about her BF but that fact that she already had interest due to her step-dad. It’s so annoying to spin that Lisa’s interest in anything French is because of her BF when it was clearly not.

Plenty of Thai people speak perfect, fluent. It’s offered in private high school and def at university here. One of my good friend majored in it and speaks it fluently. Besides the Portuguese, the French were one of the first Europeans to establish a court officials in Thai royal court since the 16th century. There is def interest in France, especially re food, fashion, and art here in Thailand.
