Svt popularity is SO overstated

Like yeah they might have a bigger fandom then exo back then

But they have NO presence in the general Kpop fandom

Numbers wise; svt may be bigger

But memorability and brand, Exo is still bigger svt. So I’ll vote exo. Svt is at an advantage thanks to kpop expansion which exo didn’t get back in 2016

I guess you’re entitled to your wrong opinions. They are more of a hit than anything seventeen have done none the less.

Wow amazing. But then this is AKP. IQ is generally low.

It's hard to make comparison using numbers, as those change, fandoms became far more organized and ambitious. Everyone is selling 1M albums now, while back then it was only EXO. Even 2023 EXO destroyed old EXO despite being the weakest EXO in terms of impact/presence, even with their bside track on its way to become the biggest BG hit this year, their impact isn't the same.

If SVT is bigger than EXO, then a good portion of Kpop is bigger than old EXO.

That being said, i would like to congratulate SVT on their achievements, they grew a lot and are doing well for themselves, they deserve their spot as one of the 3rd gen representatives.

obviously EXO. you'd have to have been there when EXO was dominating. sure BTS was rising massively by the end of 2016, but the power EXO had with their massive fandom and album sales is impossible to ignore even now.
