Not having a loving family to go back to is hard. I usually spend Christmas break at the dorms and do things I couldn't do throughout the semester - I read a few books, draw, paint, work out... Free time is incredible rare -make the best of it

I should, but I procrastinate a lot then end up cramming the day before

From work, yeah

Since the public holidays here go till the 26th I am free due to that we all had to take 3 days off and so I only need to return on the 2nd of January

Oh that'd be lovely to have a winter summer break but my job is open 24/7/365.

While I have Christmas day and Boxing day off, I'm right back at work on the 27th. And actually have overnight shifts on the 29th, 30th and 31st so can't even go to a NYE party.
