I agree with this statement because I wanted to see IVE's dynamic so i watched their behind the scenes stuff mostly dance practices... Anyway maybe I haven't watched enough content so their fans can correct me on this but from what I saw, I concluded that out of all the members, Wonyoung cares the most about her appearance. She uses masks to hide her make-up less face and she is very aware of how she is portrayed on camera, you won't see her show that she is tired at all. When I think of the pressure kpop fans place on idols to look and act perfect I think she is the best at complying with their demands.
One of her fans even wrote that she has different voices for different situations and I was shook. Because I thought her voice was always high pitched and on the annoying side due to seeing her MC music bank a couple times but apparently not that's not how she normally talks. It's just her aegyo voice. They wanted to make a point that if she were to transition into acting it would be a smooth one.
Visually I do not think she has the prettiest face even in her group but her height and proportions are what edges her forward compared to the others and she knows that. Perhaps that is why she stays on the insanely skinny side.
Hope this girl is strong mentally because she will need it. Always holding yourself to the highest of standards never ends well.

Every non idol celebrity who met her irl talked about how she's way smarter than she looks. I think she just have a really tough mentality and fortunately it looks like her parents were massively supportive of her. She said once that since she was a kid they would greet her with praising words like "the beautiful, tall and rich Wonyoung". It looks like they manifested this life for her, that's why she look like she have the confidence of a million people combined
